Outlander's on-demand 4WD system can take it off the beaten track – even as far off as the Dakar Rally. Mitsubishi Motors has decided to enter an Outlander 2.2 DI-D as a Team Repsol Mitsubishi Ralliart service vehicle on the 2008 Dakar Rally, where it will face its own share of off-road challenges.
